Riverboats Music Festival
Staged in the twin-towns of Echuca-Moama, the Festival takes place under towering river red gums in a natural amphitheatre next to the mighty Murray. PLOT redeveloped the website extensively to coincide with the 2013 festival launch.

Managed the re-development, re-branding and launch of the 48hr Film Project Melbourne in time for their 2012 festival. This involved a website with team registration process, ticketing and events information built in.

A simple and elegant portfolio site for Melbourne-based cinematographer Ari Wegner. The site features a shamelessly streaming high resolution showreel as well as a straightforward presentation of Ari's contact details and CV.
Little Red Trucks
A one-stop website for Melbourne-based small removalists Little Red Trucks. PLOT cast and shot photos for the website and created a no-nonsense design that reflects the Little Red Trucks straightforward service mentality. Functionalities include a 'quick contact' form and a comprehensive booking form, which are integrated into the client's own business systems.
CERES Environmental Park
PLOT founder Jamie Houge designed and developed this website for the Centre for Education and Research in Environmental Strategies (CERES) with work placement students from Victoria University. Jamie also trained key staff at CERES to update the website.
Virginia Kay and Jamie Houge of PLOT Media are currently in post production on Yellow Brick Films third feature film, The Lookalike. Starring Justin Long, Jerry Connell, John Corbett, Gina Gershon, Gillian Jacobs, Steven Bauer, and Luis Guzman, the film is set for international release in late 2013.
PLOT's production team worked with Milwaukee Productions and Yellow Brick Films on the recent Australian AFL feature Blinder. Blinder was shot in both Torquay, Australia, and Boston, USA. Starring Jack Thompson, Oliver Ackland, Angus Sampson, Rose McIvor, Anna Hutchison, Bob Morley, Josh Helman and Zoe Carides. Blinder is the story of an ex footballer embroiled in a scandal returning home to clear his name and reignite an old flame.
Feature Film (Pre Production)
Based on the 2010 short film P.A.M. (Post Apocolyptic Man), Hadean is a feature film set in a post apocalyptic outback after the collapse of everything we knew. A battle scarred soldier driven by revenge, leads a motley group of freedom fighters to protect the cure from an evil empire that seeks to control the collapse world and the direction of humanity itself.

Line Produced by PLOT's Virginia Kay, we also worked with the Hail team on development and design for its website. We also trained the volunteers on the Hail team to manage and update the site's content - including its news feed, team bio information and media coverage info.
PLOT directors Virginia Kay and Jamie Houge co-produced their debut US feature film Mine Games with Yellow Brick Films. Mine Games is a story of a group of young friends who make an incomprehensible discovery in an abandoned mine, but the more they try to change the future, the more they seal their fate.
PLOT produced a 30" and 15" television commerical for Drytron Carpet Cleaning. Buddy the dog was in training 3 weeks learning how to drag himself across the carpet in front of his family.

PLOT's second TVC for Ozito Power Tools. The commercial combined in-camera effects and 2D cell animation to creative an innovative campaign for the client.
Schweppes - The Alchemist
Web Video Campaign
A viral web video campaign directed and produced by PLOT for Schweppes. The many short videos were deployed across the web and feature recipes for cocktails delivered by real world, award winning Melbourne bartenders.
Ozito Power Tools
One 30 second and one 15 second TVC for Ozito's Power 8 work centre. The TVC combined 3D and 2D animation, live talent and voiceover to create a punchy presentation of a complex product in an extremely short time. Originally created for Fathers Day, the TVC enjoyed a second run before being shipped off overseas.

Perception is a short film by Miranda Nation and Sydney-based Emerald Productions, funded through the Screen Australia Springboard program. Production Managed by Jamie Houge and the PLOT Media team, Perception is currently in application for a number of international festivals. PLOT Media has also designed and developed the film website for Perception.

PLOT's first USA produced music video with director Ewan MacLeod for San Francisco band Deerhoof.
Shot over 2 days in the Mojave desert, this music video is a glimpse at the coming short film "Mutants of California City" currently in post production. This playful but stark clip was featured in September 2011 by Rolling Stone Magazine.

Music video clip for Melbourne band The Vasco Era's single 'Rock and Roll Is The Only Thing That Makes Me Feel Good'. The story follows a very bad day in the life of lead singer Sid.
With a Canon 5D strapped to his body, Sid makes his way through streets, cars and parties while stuff is flung at is face. Poor Sid.
Video Installation - c3 contemporary art space
PLOT's video installation work at c3 contemporary art space at the Abbotsford Convent, Melbourne reveals the dark, decayed and slightly sinister abandoned nooks and crannies of the convent's old dorms, laundries and infirmary. Framed in two floating rear projection screens, the work is accompanied by a barely-audible hum suggesting the potential of something wicked. Long, slow, low-to-the-floor tracking shots take the viewer through and etherial journey through places no one goes.

Music video clip for Melbourne band True Live's single 'Something To Be'. PLOT produced and directed the video and took on some major logistical challenges such as filming the band underwater and shipping in litres of water for a big water-fight scene.
PLOT's short film in association with Two Rubies and featuring Mark Winter (Balibo, van Diemen's Land). It's a gentle and melancholy story following an afternoon with one man as he struggles to find a lost love. Long, meditative shots draw out the painful inevitability of the film's poignant ending.
Behind the Scenes, Webisodes & EPK
PLOT Media produced the behind the scenes, electronic press kit and ten short webisodes for the Fremantle Media production, Wentworth. Based on the original 1970's Australian drama Prisoner, Wentworth. Currently showing on Foxtel's SoHo Channel website, the behind the scenes highlights all of the main story elements of the series, told through a succession of interviews with key cast and crew from the show.

Temora Aviation Museum
iPad Video Kiosk Installation
PLOT produced and developed this iPad application including the build and installation of 3 iPad kiosks that stand in the Temora Aviation Museum, NSW. Visitors to the museum use the touch screen interface to search through a library of video interviews that capture the stories of Australia's Unsung Veteran Heroes. iPads are housed in beautiful custom kiosks which integrate the app's content into the physical architecture of the museum. All content is hosted locally and is easily updatable by museum staff.

This iPhone and iPad App designed by PLOT Media helps beer enthusiasts gain a greater appreciation for Australian and locally produced beers. Presented by renowned restaurateur Stefano De Pieri, it features eye catching animations and informative videos.
Nurturing Children with Autism
PLOT worked closely with Community Child Care Victoria's Research and Development Unit to produce an interactive USB application about engaging children with autism in play within child care centres. The application is cross-platform and will be issued of over 3000 centres and professionals throughout Victoria.
Custom branded USB device containing an interactive Flash application geared towards helping parents with a child recently diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. The application features rich video content to provide parents with a friendly, straight forward resource to assist them in making the right choices for their child.The lightweight device is perfect for mailouts to users in rural areas where information is difficult or impossible to come by.
